Your Gridlock wallet does not function unless it is on the device you first registered with. This is so that if someone guesses your password, they cannot walk away with your crypto. But what happens if you lose your phone or get a new one?
Ask your guardians to verify you to change your new device to your primary one.
When you sign into Gridlock on your new phone, you will be in 'View only' mode, meaning you cannot make transactions.
You will be prompted to change your primary device to the one you are using. From here, Gridlock will send you an email to verify your identity and send a push notification to your guardians, but you only need one guardian to approve the request.
Contact your guardian externally to arrange this safe changeover!
