Gridlock uses Onramper for users to buy cryptocurrency. 
1.Choose which crypto you want to buy from your Wallets tab
2.Tap Buy
3.Follow the instructions on Onramper
The service automatically registers your wallet address for the purchase. 
Return to the app and your transaction will be pending before arriving.
